Why I Am Seeking Re-Election

It’s that time again, and what an incredible first term it has been as your Constable of Dallas County Precinct 2. From day one, I committed to bringing change, and I’m proud to say that we’ve made real progress together. Now, I am seeking re-election to continue the important work we’ve started.

I am an agent for change, and my platform has always centered on putting community “Back In” policing. I firmly believe in, and continue to advocate for, community policing as the cornerstone of modern law enforcement. By spending more time within the neighborhoods we serve and listening to the voices of our constituents, we have strengthened relationships, restored trust, and enhanced safety throughout our precinct.

My vision is to continue building a community policing model where law enforcement and the public are active partners in shaping safer, stronger neighborhoods. As your Constable, I will remain committed to leading a team of positive change—one that upholds dignity and respect even in the most difficult duties, such as serving warrants, civil and criminal summons, subpoenas, or executing writs of possession.

We’ve laid a strong foundation. Now, I ask for your continued support so we can move forward, together.

Continuing the Priorities That Matter Most to Precinct 2

As I seek re-election as your Constable, my commitment to community-first leadership remains stronger than ever. The priorities I ran on are not just promises; they are the foundation of the work we’ve already begun and will continue to build upon in my next term:

  • Keeping the community involved and engaged - An Empowered Community is a stronger community. I will continue to educate and involve residents through outreach, education, and open dialogue, ensuring their voices shape the future of public safety in Precinct 2.
  • Building Trust (bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community) - Bridging the gap starts with mutual respect. I remain committed to creating spaces for conversation and understanding, where residents and deputies can learn from one another and work together for safer, more united neighborhoods.
  • Engaging with our youth - Positive early interactions with law enforcement build lifelong respect and cooperation. I will expand our school and community engagement efforts by partnering with local organizations to develop mentorships, internships, and after-school programs that support youth success.
  • Partnering with community resources to aid families - Preventive education is key to justice. I will keep providing residents with the knowledge they need—before court involvement becomes necessary, ensuring our community knows their rights, options, and resources.
  • Better education and communication - From town halls and newsletters to social media, community seminars, and local broadcasts, I will continue making communication a top priority, keeping you informed, engaged, and heard.
  • Improve communication with Precinct 2 - I am committed to sending out informative newsletters, hosting town hall meetings and community seminars, social media advertisements, radio broadcastings, and other means of communication.
